Buy Local, But Watch Out for Greenwashing.

Greenwashing rears it's ugly head again. Not the tag you want to see when you purchase a "buy local" product.

Similarly, I purchased a dress recently because the brand was marketed as a homegrown, USA brand -- "American Living" at JCPenny. The dress was cute and a great fit, but I was disheartened when I looked at the tag and saw Made in Korea.

Always look at the tag.
