Casey Anthony Balloon Release Meet the Great Pacific Garbage Patch

Something about the Casey Anthony trial has struck a cord in America. The media frenzy over the Casey Anthony's not-guilty verdict has even led to the proposal of a new law -- Caylee's Law -- that would make it illegal not to report a child missing. Facebook and Twitter are filled with wild "threats" for the "tot mom" and insults over the Florida jurors' decision. The night of the verdict millions left their lights on in memory of Caylee.

Apparently there was also a Caylee Marie Balloon Release. And, rumors of another being planned.

I just want to take a chance to remind everyone that releasing balloons into the air won't bring Caylee back, but it will add to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (as well as to the other ocean garbage patches).  And, that is far more detrimental to the living children than the dead.

Take a minute and think about what your activism is really doing. Who is it speaking to and what is it saying?

No one wants children to be killed....except the killers. We are already united, lets find a way to make that unification more productive.
