Reuse Old Paint Cans

  Loving this idea -- old paint cans as entryway "hooks."  A great way to reuse old paint cans.

 Preparing Old Cans for the Wall

• If using acrylic cans, dry in the sun a few days and paint should peel out of the can. You can paint for a clean look or polyurethane for a worn look. Look for eco friendly, voc free paints and varnishes.
• The cans may look coolest if you leave the paint splatters. Just make sure to seal to protect clothing from paint chips.
• Remember to properly dispose of any excess paint.
• Be sure to hang cans in wall studs or use a molly anchor so the cans can withstand the weight of a winter coat.
